8/7/2024 – What great day we had for a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the completion of the Sole’ at Woodlawn Beach newly expanded event space and new outdoor patio!
July 24, 2024 – Hamburg, NY. Sole’ @ Woodlawn Beach, a Western New York summertime “Hot Spot,” operated & catered by Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant and Ringside Lounge, has recently completed it’s a long-planned building expansion, including a huge, brand-new outdoor patio. The popular lakeside destination is perfect for special events, banquets, weddings and other public, private and corporate gatherings. Its popularity continues to grow and as a result, the need of a larger kitchen space and storage areas became necessary. The expansion project was led by Dennis and Ilio DiPaolo, designed by Lauer Manguso Architects and built by the construction team at Concept Construction. Dennis DiPaolo had this to say about the Park’s enhancements: “These past five years have given us a lot of confidence in working with Woodlawn Beach State Park. The DiPaolo and Palmer families are very proud to be a part of this wonderful park in our community.” Vince Ricotta (VP of Business Development at Concept Construction) said: “It was an honor to work with Dennis and Ilio, two of the finest people I have ever met. They were involved from the very beginning with the planning and execution of the entire job.” In addition to the building’s expansion, the renovation also included a new, 3,000 sq. ft. concrete patio, adding a spacious outdoor seating area just steps from the party tent, outdoor bar and bandstand.”
A ribbon cutting is planned at Sole’ for Wednesday, August 7th at 5:30PM in the party tent, next to the new outdoor patio.

May 10, 2024 – Hamburg, NY. Sole’ @ Woodlawn Beach, a Western New York summertime “Hot Spot,” operated & catered by Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant, is undergoing an expansion. Plans call for the addition of a much-needed storage & kitchen space, expanding the out-door patio area to accommodate more guests to comfortably enjoy their many outdoor activities such as live music and sporting events, around the open-air bar area. Inside the lodge, spacing reconfigurations of a portion of the indoor event center will increase the capacity of the banquet room seating as well. May 7, 2024 – Sanborn, NY. The Niagara Wheatfield Central School District is undergoing significant renovations and upgrades. Concept Construction is pleased to have been selected as the general contractor for renovations to Niagara Wheatfield High School, Edward Town Middle School, Colonial Village Elementary and the District Bus Garage. Building improvements include interior upgrades to their hallways and staircases, ADA ramps, interior foundation, concrete and base work, significant reconfiguration of interior spaces as well as ceiling and structural reinforcement shoring. Work begins the first week of June 2024.

May 7, 2024 – Hamburg, NY. The Hamburg Central School District continues its building improvement plans and has selected Concept Construction Corp as their general contractor for their upcoming renovation work. Armor, Boston and Charlotte Elementary schools, along with Hamburg High School, are all part of the workscope. Mechanical System upgrades will require interior wall finishing work, various classroom updates, some auditorium enhancements, including new seats, flooring and freshly painted interior walls.
